Description

Rubber Glass® is een platina-gekatalyseerd siliconenrubber dat speciaal is ontwikkeld voor speciale effecten en displaytoepassingen. Twee vloeistoffen (1 deel A + 1 deel B) worden met elkaar gemengd en in een container gegoten. Het mengsel hardt 's nachts uit tot een vast, waterhelder rubber dat vervolgens gemakkelijk kan worden gebroken of "verbrokkeld" tot stukjes die er precies uitzien als gebroken glas, ijs of diamanten. Levendige kleuren zijn mogelijk door Silc-Pig® vloeibare kleurpigmenten toe te voegen.Rubber Glass® kan worden gebruikt om een verscheidenheid aan speciale effecten (d.w.z. gesimuleerd gebroken glas waar menselijk contact vereist is) en modeleffecten (d.w.z. gesimuleerd ijs of water) te creëren. Het kan ook worden gebruikt voor elektronische inkapselingstoepassingen.
